You aren’t alone. So many of us have finished one work day a team member or solo business extroardinaire and woke up the next a team leader (hello promotion! or business growth!). It rarely comes with a guide book and it’s hardly ever exactly how you imagined it, but when you get it right… it feels great.
Every team, every team member and every leader is different. Whether you’re in a bricks and mortar store, a cafe or an online team, there will be challenges. Whether it’s motivation, communication or differing opinions, at some point as a leader, you’re going to feel out of your comfort zone.
At People Experience Partners, our mission is to provide the tools for micro & small business owners to build and maintain, incredible teams.
Supporting you to learn or hone the skills necessary to be a confident and fair leader and in turn see your teams wellbeing and efficiency flourish.
Who are we.
Currently a one woman show, starring me (Jess Hedley), this team will not be small for long.
The idea for PE Partners grew from a career shift from People to Project Management following my journey into parenthood & part-time work. No longer with any team members reporting directly to me, I craved an outlet for my passion for leadership. I love to solve a problem and negotiate outcomes with integrity and compassion. HR and people management roles light me up, and I’m so sure, after 10+ years in leadership roles, that this is where I have the most to offer.
I find so much value and joy in supporting others be at their best, develop professionally and thrive in their work lives. We spend too much of our lives at work to expect or settle for anything less.
So, as cliche as it sounds, this is my passion project come to life. Supporting other leaders, new to the game or wanting a new perspective to grow into the role in a way that feels empathetic, fair and authentic to them.
What we do.
We work with micro-business owners to build their people management and leadership skills to support their growing teams. We specialise in supporting new leaders to gain the confidence to create thriving work environments where their employees love to work. We also provide you with the practical tools you need to manage teams long term. Think policies, employee manuals and team management checklists.
We have a solution for every budget. We know that bringing in employees can be a huge and expensive leap. We also know that not investing in your people experience from the beginning can wreak havoc on your business further down the road. That’s why we have done-for-you and guided-DIY options. We can even blend the two in a bespoke package tailored to your existing skills and needs.
